The Metro Baptist Association is hosting our Mid-Annual Banquet and Ministry Fair on Saturday, March 30 at 11:00 a.m. The event will be held at the New Bridge Church, 1305 W. Jefferson St., Winterset.
We believe this will be a time of reigniting the vision of our churches cooperating together to strengthen our ministries and mission. This time of celebration is for all pastors and key leaders/members of our churches.
The event will begin with a luncheon at 11:00 which will include fellowship around the table with our brothers and sisters in Christ. There will also be testimonies of cooperation and information on how we can work together on kingdom purposes to strengthen and encourage one another as we pursue the high calling of evangelism and discipleship.
Many of our ministries will be highlighted including:
- Mission Trips
- Friendship Center inner-city ministries
- Inter-church Service Projects
- Camps
- Men & Women’s Ministries
- Pastoral Fellowships
- Disaster Relief
- Financial and Material Resources
We will wrap up our time together with a Ministry Fair; there will be tables of materials and information staffed by people knowledgeable in the areas above. We will also be collecting contact information from everyone who would be willing to share their interests and skills by assisting other churches with projects or needs.
The event will wrap up no later than 2:00 p.m. (and probably earlier). It promises to be a time of encouragement and possibilities in service to our King. I would like to encourage each of you to bring at least 4-5 key leaders/members from your church and to enter into prayer with me and the entire Metro Leadership Team for this event.
We will need your RSVP by next Monday, March 25, 2019 so we can give the caterers a final count.
